I can't see what some people expect for this amount of money. The system could be installed by a 4 year old child - SO SIMPLE. It sounds great and is plenty loud for most common size rooms ( mine being 14 x 14 ) In fact I can't imagine wanting to turn it up as loud as it will go. I saw a few reviewers that complained about speaker wire length - DUH splice in more wire, I mean its two wires FIGURE IT OUT.
Others complain about settings - DUH again read the manual and experiment with speaker levels and speaker distance - ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. Overall the system is fine for most everyone and the sound is actually amazing for this price ( or higher for that matter ), coupled with the fact that there are two optical inputs and a digital coax input and this system is a real winner.

I purchased this surround sound system because of the excellent price and features. Years later it still performs as great as the day it was taken out of the package. The sounds quality is excellent, especially for the price of the unit. The power of the included sub woofer surprised me. One feature that I feel is worthy of mentioning is the USB input for mp3 players. It is great to be able to attach my I pod and control it with the included remote. This surround sound is excellent for the price and is highly recommended. (The reviewer was compensated for posting this review. for the money you spend it's a great, loud system. if you want a system that's simple to install and has great sound, then buy it. i bought mine on [...] it;s cheaper there.

Come on Guys!!!. If it is a defective product, that is one thing, (That is why you always buy the extended warranty on all electronics) But people today never read their Manual. I cannot tell you how many people return this item and buy a system that cost more. When I asked them about reading their Manual, They seen to get more upset at me!!!. I have the New Model RT2870R and it is the best!!!. Before you return this bad boy, Read the Manual!! It is also in Spanish too. You can go online and download a Manual after you have thrown it out with the box that held the unit. Let us not become a place where we need to have everything set up for our entertainment

This system is a great one. Especially for the price that I got it for. This thing is a STEAL! The only reason I gave it a four star review is because the speakers like to rattle a little whenever you've got it going at full blast but I'm alright with that. I can just get some new ones. The main things I love about this system is really three things. The receiver is great, the subwoofer can get down on some bass, and the overall aesthetics of the system is astounding! Great buy, Great seller, Get it!! You WILL NOT regret it!
